Building in public
For public good
Nation Code Canada was founded in 2026. We are a new organization, but we are already building. And we are doing it in the open.
Building in public means sharing our progress, our challenges, and our learnings as we go. It means being accountable to the communities we serve, not just when a project is finished, but throughout the entire journey. Our flagship pilot is live. More is coming. Here is everything we have been working on.
MyCanada
One digital entry point for all Canadian government services and benefits: federal, provincial, and municipal.
Today, Canadians navigate dozens of disconnected websites, repeat the same information on form after form, and miss out on benefits they never knew existed. MyCanada fixes this with sovereign AI, built in Canada, hosted in Canada, answerable to Canadians.

The Problem
Only 22.5% of federal services are fully online. Canada spends $1.7B annually on settlement, solving the same navigation problems over and over.
The Solution
One entry point. Describe your situation in plain language. MyCanada identifies every benefit you qualify for, pre-fills your forms, and submits to the right agencies through official APIs.
Sovereign AI
No Google. No OpenAI. No foreign contractors. Every model is trained on Canadian laws and hosted entirely on Canadian infrastructure.
The Ask
We are not seeking procurement. We are seeking partnership: a pilot sandbox, collaboration with CDS, and alignment with Digital Ambition 2030.
SafeGuard
A free, open-source browser extension that protects children online, built by Nation Code Canada for Canadian families.
SafeGuard watches what children type and search, and speaks to them directly when something looks dangerous. No parent monitoring. No data collection. Everything runs on-device, even the AI.
Available in English and French. PIPEDA compliant by design. Built on the same values that drive everything Nation Code Canada makes: responsible technology in service of people, not profit.

Nothing leaves the browser. Ever.

DNS Shield
A Canadian-hosted DNS resolver that blocks malware, phishing, and tracking at the network level. Protection starts before threats reach your devices.
Most Canadians use DNS resolvers run by US corporations, handing over a complete record of every website they visit. DNS Shield keeps that data in Canada, under Canadian law, with zero logging.
One configuration change protects every device on your home or office network: phones, tablets, smart TVs, gaming consoles. No software to install.
Scam Shield
AI-powered protection against Canadian digital scams, built to defend newcomers, seniors, and everyday Canadians.
Canadians lose hundreds of millions every year to CRA impersonation, fake banking pages, phishing SMS, and benefit fraud. Scam Shield detects these threats instantly, before you click, pay, or share personal information.
Paste any suspicious link, phone number, or text message. Our AI analyzes it against known Canadian scam patterns and gives you a clear risk assessment in seconds. No account required. Completely free.

ConsultCA
A centralized platform for Canadians to participate in government consultations across all provinces and territories.
Every year, hundreds of public consultations go unnoticed. Most Canadians never find them. Those who do face confusing language and disconnected portals. ConsultCA brings every consultation — federal, provincial, and territorial — into one searchable, accessible platform.
From climate policy to housing reform, from indigenous rights to AI governance: submit your feedback, track outcomes, and see how your input shaped decisions.

The Problem
Public consultations are dominated by organized lobby groups. Ordinary Canadians — the people most affected by policy — rarely participate because they never hear about consultations in time.
The Solution
ConsultCA aggregates consultations from all levels of government into one platform. We translate policy language into plain English and French, and make submission straightforward and anonymous.
Canada-Wide
British Columbia to Nunavut. Every province, every territory, and the federal government. Filter by region, topic, or closing date. Never miss a consultation that matters to your community.
Track Outcomes
Participation should feel meaningful. ConsultCA tracks what governments do after consultations close — showing how community feedback shaped the final decision.
SchoolConnect Canada
The only social platform built exclusively for Canadian students — combining everything Instagram, TikTok, and Telegram offer with what schools actually need.
Canadian students have nowhere safe to go online. The platforms they use were built for engagement, not education. They are governed by foreign law, run on foreign servers, and answer to foreign shareholders. SchoolConnect fixes this.
Class chats. Short video. Stories. Assignment tracking. Parent dashboards. AI homework help. All verified by school email. All hosted in Canada. All under Canadian law. No advertising. No algorithm designed to maximize screen time. No data leaving the country.
Chat
Class and club group chats, verified by school
Stories & video
Like Instagram and TikTok — inside your school
School tools
Assignments, announcements, clubs
Parent dashboard
Visibility without surveillance
AI tutor
Homework help powered by Claude
Canadian data
Everything stays in Canada, under Canadian law
The Problem
Canadian students use TikTok, Instagram, and Telegram for school communication — platforms governed by foreign law, running on foreign servers, with no accountability to Canadian families or schools. Canada's Bill C-63 is moving to restrict these platforms for minors. There is no Canadian alternative.
The Solution
One verified, school-bound platform that combines social features with school tools. Class chats, short video, stories, assignments, clubs, and parent dashboards — all tied to school email identity, all hosted in Canada, all governed by Canadian law.
Four-Phase Roadmap
Phase 1 pilots in one BC school with core chat and school tools. Phase 2 adds social features — stories, video, group feeds. Phase 3 introduces AI homework help and newcomer translation. Phase 4 scales Canada-wide with native apps and district integration.
The Ask
We are seeking one school board partner in British Columbia for a six-month pilot. A letter of support and a willing school is all we need to start. The pilot data will drive province-wide adoption.
